I was wondering if anyone knows why the Eribelle is so rare (particularly in the U.K.) The Puck is a lot more common but to me the eribelle seems a better design for security and insulation.

thanks
Andrew

The Eribelle is upfollowing the Eribette.
The Puck touring is stronger so he have a fitted frame.

That was meant to say rare not weird! Is the eribelle the only model without frame? Not sure what you mean by upfollowing eribette?

The Eribelle has no metal cage construction like the Touring series but it is built up in the normal way with wood etc. like many other caravans. Due to this cage construction the Touring is rather expensive. The Eribelle was meant to be a cheaper, yet good alternative for the Touring series but, unfortunately, the model never really “took off”. The Eribelle model was launched twice, once in the eighties, once in the nineties.

I would say, just come and join us at the International Eribelle-Treffen on May 29, 30, 31 in Gulpen, the Netherlands, and we will tell you all about it!
You still have 5 days to register! :-)

If you look here, there is a steelframe in Eribelle - I think. :)

What we mean is the steel cage construction with the small panels, which you can find on every Touring. The sides of the Touring are built up of small panels, fitted into a steel cage construction. There is indeed some steel used in the Eribelle, but in a different way. The side of an Eribelle consists of 1 large piece of material with holes cut into it for the door, window, etc.
