Thanks again Véronique. My 87 caravan has the propex system, it looks like a pretty new one, at least looks fresh anyway. I presume they are powered by 12v and worked on gas? is there anything else to be aware of when using it to your knowledge, any specific gas, would butane be ok?
Just on the sticker thing which you may have missed on the other post but is the sticker on the pdf file to scale as in the exact size letters as per the original on the caravan?

Hello James,
Here are the technical specs of the Truma Trumatic S3002 liquid gas heater with automatic ignitor and thermostat as installed in our 1998 Eribelle 430TD:
