Hallo,
Ik ben Hans uit Oss en ik heb vorige maand een Eribelle gekocht.
Dat was al jaren een droom van me, en die is nu uitgekomen (eindelijk!).
Ik heb me reeds aangemeld bij jullie 'club'.
Mijn exemplaar is een standaard uitvoering (geen fashion) uit 1987.
Nu ben ik bezig haar op te knappen. Dit jaar zit vakantie er niet meer in, zodoende spendeer ik mijn tijd aan de Eribelle.
Diverse kleine onderdelen zijn nog te vinden of simpelweg te vervangen door soortgelijke delen. Maar het belangrijkste (vind ik) mis ik nog.
Op mijn caravan is aan beide zijden de sticker met ERIBELLE niet meer aanwezig. (Je kunt nog wel zien waar ze zat)
Wie kan mij nog aan een tweetal stickers helpen? (Natuurlijk niet voor niets.)
Een reklame bureau kan ze mij leveren indien ik een goede foto en de juiste afmetingen kan aanleveren.
Ik heb in MS Word het lettertype FUTURA HV gevonden die er veel op lijkt, maar volgens mij niet helemaal.
Wie wil er voor mij de moeite nemen om zijn sticker ''over te trekken'', of loodrecht te fotograferen en op te meten.
Aangezien op mijn caravan nog wel te zien is waar hij zat, had ik gaarne de juiste sticker teruggeplaatst zodat kleurverschillen niet meer te zien zijn.
Ik wil jullie allemaal alvast bedanken voor de eventuele moeite.

Hallo Hans,
Heb je het over de Eribelle-sticker zoals deze op de achterkant van de Eribelle rechtsonder in de bovenbalk van www.eribelle.nl staat?
Ik meen namelijk ooit eens deze Eribelle-sticker ergens gekocht te hebben. Laat me even weten of dat is wat je zoekt, dan ga ik kijken waar ik hem heb liggen.

Beste Hans,
Bij mij was de Eribelle tekst ook verdwenen.
Ik heb de tekst zelf gemaakt met letter van "Pickup lettering systems", ik heb deze letters jaren geleden gekocht in een kantoorboekhandel. De letters waren toen in vele afmetingen verkrijgbaar. Ze komen van Bergslot - Dedemsvaart.

Ik heb de sticker gevonden en haar in .pdf-bestandsvorm op de Documentatie-pagina gezet (onder Overige - Sticker jaren-80 Eribelle), zodat ook andere Eribellisten die op zoek zijn naar deze sticker hier gebruik van kunnen maken.

Allemaal hartelijk dank voor jullie bijdrage aan mijn vraag.
Jan, bedankt voor de foto's. Veronique voor het pdf-bestandje.
Als er anderen eribellisten zijn die ook interesse hebben in een nieuwe sticker, meld je dan even bij mij.
Volgende week neem ik contact op met een bevriend reklamebureau.
Laten we maar hopen op een goed alternatief welke niet onder doet voor het orginele.

Hello,
Sorry to steal your thread but I am just wondering did someone find a place to source the "Eribelle" sticker, I cannot understand the posts. I still have mine on my Eribelle but it has faded as mentioned before on a post here. Did someone find a solution as I was going to get one made up myself.

Yes, Hans Diehle is having new Eribelle stickers made from the photographs Jan de Vries sent to him and/or the .pdf on our Documentatie-page (scroll down until you get to "Overige", then look under S - sticker jaren-80 Eribelle -).
You can get in touch with Hans (just click on his name in one of his messages above and send him an email) and order stickers through him. This will, as you can imagine, also have a positive effect on the costprice.

Are all the Eribelle stickers on the rear a dark colour as per the pdf file you mentioned? On my one the actual letters "ERIBELLE" dont seem to be a sticker but the letters are the acutal cream back ground colour of the rest of the caravan, but the surround is the part that is dark in colour(ie 5 mm surround) which highlights the letters. It all looks 100% factory as its not a sticker type motif. It is hard to eplain it properly.

Hello James,
The .pdf shows the original sticker on the rear of the eighties-Eribelle. You can see one stuck to an Eribelle in the photograph in the upper level of this webpage (moreover, in the upper level of every page of www.eribelle.nl). Just look on the right side of the picture in the lower corner.
If this is not the sticker you are looking for, we might not be able to help you.
But why don't you send us a photograph of your Eribelle-"sticker"?

Hello James,
I received your photo and put it in the photo-album.
It looks like someone spraypainted around the Eribelle-sticker (the one on the .pdf) and then removed it.
You could of course stick a new (original, black) Eribelle-sticker over the white letters, but I doubt if that would be a real improvement.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Ik heb de foto van James ontvangen en heb hem in het foto-album geplaatst.
Het lijkt wel alsof iemand over de Eribelle-sticker heeft gespraypaint en toen de sticker heeft verwijderd.
Je zou evt. een nieuwe Eribelle-sticker kunnen plaatsen (de zwarte, originele) over de witte letters, maar of het daar mooier van wordt?
Heeft iemand een - ander of beter - idee?

I dont think they did, its hard to tell from the pic but it does not look like it was sprayed around and then removed. Is the sticker as per the pdf file to scale as in the exact size of the sticker thats on the back? Each letter as per the pdf, eg the E is about 7mm by 5mm.

Looking at the picture again, I think I did not understand what you were saying, it is possible I suppose that someone painted a brown box from around the letters and then removed the original sticker to highlight the letters. Sorry I misunderstood what you meant. Its hard to say as the letters look so original.

Looking at the picture I wonder about the size of the word "ERIBELLE", I am thinking that it is larger than the original sticker; just to check could you give an idea about the height and length of the word.
Furthermore I doubt it to be a factory job; by the looks of it somebody by lack of an original sticker made up the necessary letters and spraypainted around them. The beginning is all black around the letters and down the line with the "LL" you find more cream colour included; I think the factory would have done better.
The best solution seems to me to remove or overspray the word even if this will give a rectangular visible spot and use the original sticker, which you can obtain now, on it.

Hello James,
I measured the sizes of the letter E on the Eribelle-sticker for you:
Width: 3,5 cm (= 1,3779")
Hight: 4,9 cm (= 1,9291")
Sticker length from the beginning of the first "E" till the end of the last "E": 31,3 cm (= 12,3228").

Hallo allemaal.
Inmiddels heb ik een offerte voor de ERIBELLE stickers.
Ze worden ongeveer 10-12 euro per stuk. (Lijkt mij redelijk.)
Ze zijn identiek aan de orginele met 1 uitzondering.
Het is nu niet een transparante sticker met zwart ERIBELLE erop, maar het worden allemaal losse letters, welke wel op een stuk pappier voorgeplakt zijn. Als je de stickers op de caravan plakt en je trekt het papier eraf, dan hou je alleen zwarte letters over. (Dit is de techniek waarmee ze auto's beletteren.)
Dit lijkt mij beter, aangezien het transparante nu niet meer aanwezig is en dus niet kan verkleuren.
Ik laat wel weten en stuur wel foto's als het is gelukt.

Thanks you Véronique, they are as per them sizes. The picture looks decieving in that it looks bigger but they are original size.

I could not translate all your post but if you could post pictures when you have completed that would be great. I didnt understand the part about the transparent bit, Véronique maybe you could help me out on the explanation? Thanks again.

Hello James,
Hans has received an offer for the stickers.
Price: 10 – 12 euro per piece.
The "original" sticker consists of the name Eribelle on a transparant background.
The transparant background is part of the sticker and, after a couple of years, will change colour due to the exposure to sunlight.
When holding the "new" sticker in you hands, it looks identical to the original sticker. There is however one difference: the new sticker consist of letters only (the transparant background is not an inseperable part of the sticker, it is just there to get the spacing right).
Hans will send us some photographs of the result as soon as possible.

Hallo allemaal.
Ja, hoor ze zitten erop. Eindelijk is mijn eribelle weer aangekleed!!!
Voor de duidelijkheid, ik had hetzelfde probleem als James. Witte letters met donkere schaduw erlangs. Dit komt door de chemische reactie van de lijm van de orginele sticker met de zon. Daarom is het wit gebleven onder de oorspronkelijke zwarte letters. (Zelfs met poetsen krijg je dit niet weg.)
Ik heb eerst de eribelle goed gepolished waar de stickers moesten komen. Daarna heb ik een kleine potloodlijn horizontaal onder de oude letters doorgetrokken. Nu kwam ik erachter dat mijn sticker waarschijnlijk een beetje scheef op de eribelle had gezeten. Ik heb hem maar weer gewoon waterpas eropgezet zoals dat hoort. Ik zal Veronique wel een paar foto's sturen van het resultaat.

Photographs of the new Eribelle-stickers - and how to attach them to your Eribelle - can be found on our "Documentatie"-page. Go to the chapter "Overige", then scroll down until you get to the letter S (all subjects are listed on alphabetical order).
By the way, when replacing the sticker on the front of his Eribelle, Hans noticed the same "shade"-effect when removing the original sticker you had!
Instructions for replacement: Remove the old sticker (but first draw a line under the letters of the old sticker, thus making it easier to position the new sticker), polish the sticker area well; position new sticker, remove back paper.
You can order the new Eribelle sticker by getting in contact with Hans directly(tel. 00.31.62311534). Price: 12 euro each (postage not included). But be quick: gone is gone!

Dear James,
I polished the caravan with a normal polish. But the black shade didn't dissapear. When you look closer you can still see it. Only on the front.
The new stickers I have now, are the same size as the original.
So I placed one exactly on it's place and the black shade isn't so visible anymore.
This new sticker doesn't have the transparanty between the letters. Every letter is a single sticker.

Ik heb de caravan met een normale polish behandeld. Maar hierdoor gaat de verkleuring niet weg. Als je dichterbij kijkt, zie je het (alleen voorop) nog steeds zitten.
De nieuwe stickers zijn identiek aan de orginele qua maatvoering.
Dus als je deze op de juiste plaats plakt, dan is de schaduw niet meer zo zichtbaar.
Deze sticker heeft niet meer het transparante tussen de letters. Elke letter is een afzonderlijke sticker.
